Passed away on Friday, 16th July 2021

Maggie’s sons and daughters, together with the extended Cash and Berry families would like to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of compassion, support, sympathy and respect shown to them on the great loss of Maggie.

We were deeply touched by the number of people who stood out lining the route as Maggie was brought on her final journey past her home on the way to the cemetery.  Thank you to all our wonderful neighbours, cousins, family far and near, friends and the wider community in New Ross, for all your love, kindness, generosity and support shown to us, no words can express how grateful we are. We are also deeply grateful to those who supplied food, beverages and many phone calls, texts, messages of sympathy, Mass cards and messages of condolences received.

We would especially like to thank Fr. Tom Orr C.C. for his kindness, consideration and care at this most difficult time. We would also like to thank Dr. Michael O’Beirne, Rosbercon Medical Centre, Nurse Mary and Tracey for their wonderful care and attention shown Maggie and her family throughout the years,

A special word of thanks to Maggie’s Health Care Nurse Ber Power and to the Carers Mary Lyng and Andrea who attended Maggie and enabled the family to look after Maggie in her home in her final months. To Joanne Cooney and Neil and Sean for their wonderful care and compassion, to Billy Murphy, the cemetery staff Pat Laffan and Derek Furness and the gravediggers Donal and Larry, for their care and sensitivity at this most difficult time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere appreciation and gratitude. We will be forever grateful for your support.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
