The sons, daughters and extended family of the late Margaret (Peg) Bonner wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss.
Thank you to all who visited the funeral home, attended Peg’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass cards and floral tributes and all who phoned, wrote or travelled long distances to offer condolences and support.
Our heartfelt thanks especially to Theresa and Dorothy for their friendship and care which allowed Peg to end her days in the comfort of the home she loved. Thank you too to all the nurses, doctors, pharmacists and other carers for their kind support.
Special thanks to Fr Michael Murtagh and Canon Nigel Sherwood for your visits, prayers and uplifting funeral Mass and also to Naoimh Penston, Catherine Brennan, Arklow Shipping Silver Band and Arklow Male Voice Choir for providing the beautiful music that Peg had requested.
To our extended families, friends, neighbours and colleagues, we thank you for your great support and generous gifts of food for us and our visitors. To Peg’s former teaching colleagues and friends and to the students of St. Mary’s College, St. John’s Senior National School, Arklow CBS and the children from Poppins crèche, thank you for your lovely and very moving guard of honour.
Thanks also to Bill & Joe from R.S.S. for tending to the grave and to John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors including Ned, Brendan & Eamonn and especially to Niamh who could not have done more to help us.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Peg’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 13th October at 6.30pm in the Church of Saints Mary and Peter, Arklow.
