Margaret (Peggy) Breslin

 Margaret (Peggy) Breslin
(née Mulhern)

Brenter, Dunkineely, Donegal

The family of the late Peg Breslin wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them following her recent sad passing. Thanks to the many people who sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, expressed their condolences online and for the many telephone calls, messages and floral tributes. To those kind neighbours, friends and members of An Garda Síochána, who while observing Covid 19 restrictions, stood along the roadside in a beautiful and moving tribute to her, as the cortege passed through Brenter and neighbouring townlands en route to the Church. Also to those who stood outside the Church, again observing Covid restrictions. A special thanks to Fr. Rory Brady for the beautiful funeral Mass. To Máirín and her sister Anne for the lovely singing which gave us so much comfort, our heartfelt thanks. To John B. O'Donnell, Funeral Director, for the professional and dignified manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements.

Our mother's life was characterised by her devotion to her family, her deep religious faith and her enjoyment of the company of her many friends and neighbours. She guided us through life with gentleness, kindness and wisdom. She inspired her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with boundless love, praise and encouragement, beaming smiles and hugs. We remember her with love and deepest gratitude and know that she will be with us all, as we journey onwards. Her month's mind Mass will be held on Friday 22nd of January at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.Joseph and St.Conal, and can be viewed online at 'Belong to Bruckless'.
