Peggy’s family Norma, John, Irene, Vivian and Edel, daughters-in-law Barbara and Avril, sons-in-law Liam and Tony, grandchildren, brothers and sisters and all of  her extended family would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us and supported us during and since our recent loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to all of our relatives, friends and neighbours who offered their support through telephone calls, letters, text messages, flowers, messages on RIP.ie and Mass cards.  We were so touched by those who attended Mass outside the church, and stood outside their houses and along the roadside to show their respect for Peggy on her final journey.

We would like to thank Fr. Patrick O’Brien for the beautiful farewell Mass and Matt Keane for his lovely singing and music. Thanks also to Padraig Craddock from Craddock’s Funeral Service, for his care and professionalism. Sincere gratitude to the gravediggers for preparing Peggy’s final resting place with such attention and care. We are also very grateful to all our friends and neighbours who brought food to the house over those difficult days.

We would like to thank all those that cared for Peggy, the wonderful nurses, carers, management and staff of Stella Maris Nursing Home and Dr. Alan Costello, Dr. Val Costello and Dr Seamus Cunningham for their excellent care.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and thanks.

Month’s Mind Mass will be held in the Church of Mary Immaculate & St Joseph, Caherlistrane, Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 7pm. The Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/caherlistrane
