In Loving Memory of Margaret Woods (née Malone)
Acknowledgement and Thanks The family of the late Margaret Woods (née Malone), who passed away peacefully on the 3rd of November after spending precious time with her family and friends, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who supported and comforted us during our recent loss.
We were deeply comforted and truly proud to see so many friends, neighbours, relatives and past work colleagues attend Margaret’s wake and funeral—to pay their respects and share such mean- ingful and cherished memories. Your presence and your stories brought us great solace and will be remembered by us always and to friends who brought food and worked tirelessly serving refreshments. To the neighbours and friends who offered parking space and helped with traffic and parking.
We are sincerely grateful for the kindness and sympathy shown through your calls, messages, cards, flowers, and expressions of support. The generous donations made to The Holy Family School Cootehill are deeply appreciated and are something Margaret herself would have valued greatly.
A particularly important part of Margaret’s life in recent years were the local home carers who visited daily, bringing not only care and kindness but also the local news and friendly conversation. We also extend our thanks to the agency carers.
To neighbours, and friends who called to check in and share chats with her.
Special thanks to Dr. Larney and the primary care team Carrickmacross for their excellent care of Margaret. Our special thanks go to the doctors, nurses, and care staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital who cared for Margaret with such compassion. We are especially grateful to the ICU team for their professional and gentle approach, and to the Palliative Care team who ensured her final days were filled with dignity and comfort. We also wish to thank the members of the clergy in Our Lady of Lourdes who attended her faithfully.
We offer our sincere gratitude to Micheal McGee funeral director for his professional direction and support.
To Fr. Martin Treanor, who visited Margaret in hospital with prayers and words of comfort, officiated the funeral with a warm and personalised touch. Thank you also to all who participated in the funeral service, those who travelled long distances to be with us, and those who joined us online.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appre- ciation.
A heartfelt thank you to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Forever loved, sadly missed, and always remembered.
May Margaret’s gentle soul rest in peace.
Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 6th December at 6pm in Mother Mary of Mercy Church, Inniskeen.
