Marie’s children Tona, Brian, Jossa, Avril, Garrett, Therese, Roy & all her family would like to thank, most sincerely all those who offered sympathy, kindness and support at this sad time of Mam’s passing. 

We recognise and will be forever thankful to the many individuals who did something special, to those who provided compassion, sympathy, sustenance, support, those who visited our home, attended Mam’s funeral Mass (online or in person) & burial, sent Mass cards & letters of sympathy, offered their prayers, those who shared beautiful memories of those unknown or forgotten experiences. 

We deeply appreciate all the care that was given to Marie by Judit and the Bluebird care team especially Mary McDonald, Ferrybank Pharmacy, Bradshaw’s Lane Surgery particularly Dr.Tony Bentley, the public health nurses Mary & Linda and the Hospice Nursing Team also to Deirdre Breslin for sharing important advice and guidance. Also to St Vincent’s Hospital and Chaplain.

A special thank you to Fr Michael Murphy and Fr Diarmuid Byrne for their prayers, beautiful funeral Mass, the wonderful music created by Geraldine, Michael and Bridget along with the sacristy team.

Thank you to Peter Dempsey for his graveside tribute & to Seamas who sang for Marie one last time.

Marie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 1st June 2024  at 7pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey and those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
