The family of the late Marie Duggan, husband Tom, sons, daughters & extended family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who offered sympathy, condolences & support during their recent sad loss.

Sincere thanks to Marie’s friends & neighbours for their unwavering support throughout her life, to the fabulous Arklow Home Help Team who lovingly cared for Marie during her final years at home, to the wonderful staff at Middletown House Nursing Home where Marie spent her final months, to the medical teams over many years, including Dr Siobhan McCabe & team at Sheltonville Surgery, specialist care providers Dr Declan Lyons & Prof Niall Tubridy,  Fiona Merrigan & team at Ferrybank Pharmacy. The kindness, care, dignity & gentleness provided for Marie is much cherished by her family.

Thanks to all of you who visited our home, to those who attended Marie’s removal, funeral Mass & burial. To those who phoned, wrote, sent cards or travelled long distances to offer sympathy, support and share with us their happy memories of Marie. To those who donated to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Marie’s memory – thank you.

Warmest thanks to Fr Dermot Byrne, Fr Tom Coughlan & Fr David Brough for their prayers, guidance & lovely funeral Mass, & to Naoimh Penston & Bridget Kenny for their beautiful music.

Thanks also to Jason Porter for tending the grave, to the management and staff of The Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after Marie’s funeral & to John Sweeney & Sons, Funeral Directors for their kind & professional service which was much appreciated by her family.

Marie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 16th June at 10.15am in St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey.
