Marjorie’s family would like to express their sincere thanks for the many expressions of love and support shown throughout Marjorie’s recent sad passing.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home and gathered in prayer, those who attended Marjorie’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, those who sent Mass cards and letters, those who shared happy memories and words of comfort online, those who phoned or wrote and all those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Marjorie’s life via webcam.
Our heartfelt thanks to the kind and caring staff of Aisling House which was home to Marjorie throughout her final years.
Very special thanks to Fr. Michael Doyle and Fr Pat Sinnott for their prayers, guidance and beautiful funeral Mass, to the sacristy team at St. Joseph’s Church and to Michael Flood and Patricia Kavanagh for such wonderful music.
To Marjorie’s neighbours, friends and her dear companions from prayer group, we thank you for many years of comradery.
Thank you to the management and staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after the funeral, to Chris Caffrey for tending to the grave and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Marjorie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 25th January at 7pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
