Mark’s wife, children and family wish to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss and to everyone who supported us during Mark’s short illness. Thanks to the many relatives, friends, neighbours, colleagues and all who attended the repose, funeral Mass and cremation, those who had Masses said, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences and who have provided practical support and much needed prayers at this difficult time, remembering in particular Mark’s friends and colleagues in the CRC.
A special word of thanks to the ICU staff and the multi-disciplinary medical teams in Beaumont Hospital for the wonderful care they gave to Mark, and for the compassion and kindness shown to us. We also want to pay tribute to the fantastic work of Professor Conlon and the renal team who have looked after Mark so well for many years.
We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone at St. Brendan’s Church, Coolock Village, and in particular to parish priest Fr. Edwin McCallion for his kindness to us and for his truly special celebration of Mark’s funeral Mass, which we will always treasure.
Much as we want to, it is not possible to thank everyone individually. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is being offered for the intentions of all.
Month’s mind Mass for Mark will be celebrated at 6.30pm on Saturday, 30th October 2021, at St. Brendan’s Church and will be live streamed on the parish webcam.
