Cois Abhainn, Kilmovee, Mayo / Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon / Ballina, Mayo

We, Marks's wife Eva, children Chloe, Rían, Fíonn and Kaia and their families would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our heartbreaking loss of Mark on 24th June 2022.

Words cannot express our gratitude to our wonderful friends, neighbours and relatives who were supportive and helpful to us.  Thank you to those who travelled to be with us and those who watched the funeral online; thank you to all who attended our home, sent cards, telephoned and left condolences online.

A sincere thank you to Fr Joseph Gavigan who called to our home and offered  comfort and support in preparing for Mark's funeral Mass; thank you for celebrating Mark's funeral Mass and burial; thank you also to Fr Dan O'Mahony who co-celebrated the Mass.

Thank you also to the Rooney sisters who provided beautiful music throughout the Mass.

Our most sincere thank you to Tommy Sharkey and his professional team of Sharkey's Funeral Directors, who supported and guided us during this difficult time.  We will be forever grateful for your professionalism and guidance during this very difficult period in our lives.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest wholehearted gratitude.

Mark's Months Mind Mass is in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilmovee, Co Mayo, at 11am Saturday the 23rd July 2022.

Memories of You Dad

It's been the hardest thing to lose you

You meant so much to me

But you are in my heart Dad

And that's where you'll always be

I know that Heaven called you

But I wish you could have stayed

At least the memories I have of you

They will never fade

I did not want to lose you

But you did not go alone

Because a part of me went with you

When Heaven called you home

So just remember one thing

We are not apart

You're with me in my memories

And in my broken heart.
