Rafferty, Mark (late of Pheasant Walk, Collins Avenue Waterford, formerly of Swords, Sandymount and Malahide) who left us, suddenly, on February 12th, 2020. His wife Orla, his mother Margaret and the Rafferty and Barry families would like to acknowledge with sincere and heartfelt gratitude all the love, kindness, support and kind sentiments shown to us by all members of our families, friends, neighbours, colleagues and acquaintances.
We would like to thank you most sincerely for all the kind expressions of sympathy and support that we received at the time of Mark’s passing. For those who presented cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful. We would also like to thank those who attended the funeral Mass, in Dublin, in particular those who travelled to pay their respects to Mark.
To our extended families, friends, neighbours, colleagues and acquaintances - your emotional and practical support, kindness, companionship and friendship are much appreciated, and will never be forgotten.
To the Ambulance Crew and An Gardai Siochana, Waterford, a huge thanks for the efforts made and the kindness and compassion shown to us.
A special thanks to Luke and Anthony, from Luke Hennessy Funeral Directors for their professionalism, kindness, empathy, support and patience.
Thank you to Pieta House for the support that they have provided during these extremely hard times.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation.
To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children,
to leave the world a better place,
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived,
that is to have succeeded.
