Martha’s children, brothers, sisters & all her family wish to extend a huge thank you to each & every person who offered sympathy & support throughout the recent sad loss of a devoted mother, beloved sister & dear friend.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Martha’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, either in person or via webcam, those who sent floral tributes, cards, letters or texts & to those who phoned or shared warm wishes & happy memories online.
A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital for all they did throughout Martha’s final weeks & to Dr. Anne Marie O’Farrell, Dr. Noleen Fortune & all at Maryville Surgery for their care over the past few years.
Our thanks to Fr. Martin Jose for celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass & to Karla Tracey & Bridget Kenny for such lovely music.
Thank you to our colleagues, neighbours & friends for your kindness throughout & to our friends from the Samaritans for your respectful Guard of Honour.
Thanks also to the management & staff of The Old Ship for their hospitality, to Jason & Tom for tending to the grave & all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors, especially Niamh for her professionalism & guidance throughout.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Martha’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 9th August at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam:
