We, the family of the late Martin Molloy, beloved husband of Roisin, adored father of Anna, Aoife and Tomas, son of Rita and the late Tommy Molloy, brother of Eugene and Mary (Gennaro) would like to express our sincere gratitude for the prayers, kindness, support and sympathy offered to us on our recent sad bereavement.
We are grateful to all who attended the Wake and Funeral, for all the Mass cards, sympathy cards and to those who left messages of sympathy online.
We express our appreciation for the many generous donations to the Castleblayney Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
Heartfelt thanks to family, neighbours and dear friends who brought food, provided and served tea and refreshments during the Wake. We thank the neighbours and friends who assisted with car parking and transport to and from the house.
We send our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Martin. We also thank the Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care Team and carers for their care towards Martin at home.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Duffy for his spiritual support and help. Sincere thanks to Fr. Boyle for his pastoral and spiritual support and care throughout and for the Requiem Mass.
We convey our appreciation to the organist and choir for the beautiful music and hymns, and also to the altar servers. We also thank the piper, Lorna Morgan, who led the funeral cortege to the church and thank you to Séamus Ó Rócháin for playing the beautiful uilleann pipes at Martin's final resting place.
Special thanks to the staff and pupils of Ballybay Community College and Gaelscoil Lorgan for the dignified and supportive guards of honour.
We are so grateful to Ward's Funeral Directors, Ballybay, for the professional and compassionate manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Our thanks also to the grave diggers for preparing Martin's final resting place.
Sincere thanks to the members of Cremartin GAA Hall committee for providing the use of the hall for refreshments after the burial.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our family's sincere gratitude.
