Ann, Nicola and the family of the late Mary Bowen wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all family, friends and neighbours for the many expressions of sympathy and support we received at the sad time of mum’s passing.

Special thanks to everyone who telephoned, visited, sent letters, flowers, sympathy cards, Mass cards, text messages and online messages of condolence. And also those who travelled from Ireland and long distances especially to be with us for mum’s funeral. Thank you for the funeral flowers and kind donations to Marie Curie in mum’s memory, a charity close to our hearts.

Special thanks to Debbie, Yvonne, Tom and all the staff at Windsor Lodge Care Home for the kindness and care shown to mum in her time at WL. And to Fr John Williamson of St Joseph’s Parish in Chalfont St Peter and Fr George Ranahan, Thurles, Tipperary, for their prayers.

Thank you to Fr Liam O’Donovan and the Parish of Our Lady of the Visitation Greenford for the funeral mass and to Arnold Funeral Directors in Gerrards Cross for their service and care.

We apologise to those who were unable to travel and were watching the funeral Mass without audio on the live stream. We are still trying to resolve the issue with the audio but with little success at the moment.

Very special thanks and gratitude to soloist Bridgette Conway for her beautiful vocals during the funeral Mass and to the organist Cherry Willow-Pauls.  Your exceptional performance made mum’s funeral Mass a special memory for us all.

To all staff at the West Middlesex Golf Club for refreshments afterwards.

Mass will be offered on Monday, 25 July 2022, at 12 noon in Greenford in memory of Mum, Dad and all the deceased members of the Burke and Bowen families.
