Mary’s daughters Patricia, Maria & Lucy, sons Greg, Brendan, Kevin & Tim & all her family would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support shown to us throughout the recent sad loss of a much-loved mother, mother-in-law grandmother, sister & friend.
Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Mary’s funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters & texts, those who shared happy memories & kind condolences online & all those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Mary’s life via webcam. A special thank you to those who travelled long distances to show your support & those who donated generously to their chosen charity in Mary’s memory.
Our thanks to Dr. Coates & her team at Arklow Medical Practice, to the kind & helpful pharmacy staff & to the wonderful carers who assisted Mary in her home.
To Mary’s new family at Elm Green Nursing Home where she received much love & the very best of care, we cannot thank you enough.
A special thank you to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to Bridget Kenny for her musical accompaniment. To Mary’s grandchildren Chris & Deirbhile, we thank you for honouring your grandmother with such wonderful singing & performing, she would have been so incredibly proud of you both.
Our gratitude to the management & staff of The Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Jason & Tom for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Mary’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 6th December at 6.30pm in St. Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
