The family of the late Mary Flynn, née Keenaghan, Banagher Street, Cloghan who passed away on the 19th of March 2023 would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We deeply appreciate all of you who supported us in person, sent messages, mass cards, letters, flowers and condolences on RIP.ie. Your kind words and gestures were of great comfort to us.

 

We offer our heartfelt thanks to extended family, cousins, neighbours and friends whose kindness and support will never be forgotten. Thanks also to those who made the effort to travel a distance to be with us.

 

Sincere thanks to Dr. Shane Carroll, Butlers Pharmacy, the staff of Tullamore Hospital, and Mam’s nurses and carers who went above and beyond their duties to ensure the greatest of care and comfort for Mam.

 

Thank you to Joe Grennan and Tony McIntyre for your professionalism and compassion. Thanks to the gravediggers for their assistance and giving of their time.

 

A sincere thank you to Father Pat for celebrating the funeral mass and for your continued prayers. We would also like to thank Father Michael, Father Peter, Father Tom and Father Shay for concelebrating. Thank you to Denise Flaherty for the beautiful music.

 

Special thanks to Cloghan hall committee for catering after the funeral and for the use of the hall. Thanks to all who joined in a guard of honour to respect our loss.

 

As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

 

Mary’s first Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday the 17th of March at 9.30am in St. Mary’s Church, Cloghan.

 

May her Kind and Gentle soul Rest in Peace.
