On the 1st anniversary of her death on 20 January 2021, we would like to express how much we loved our mother and how much we miss her every day.
We would like to thank everyone who supported and consoled us throughout her illness and on her passing, in particular our wonderful neighbours, friends and work colleagues whose constant support helped us cope. We would like to thank all who sent letters of sympathy, mass cards, messages of condolences on RIP.ie and all who watched her funeral Mass online. It was sad that many who would have liked to attend her funeral were unable to do so due to the Covid restrictions. We are sure her many friends at Edenderry Golf Club, Allenwood Bowling Club along with many other good friends from her wide social circle would have liked to attend. Also, we would like to thank Allenwood and Ballyteague GFCs and all who formed guards of honour and those who lined the route.
We would like to extend a particular thanks to the wonderful healthcare staff for their care and professionalism in looking after our mother in such difficult times; the hospice staff for their guidance and support and the care staff of the Community Palliative Care team. We want to thank Fr Willie Byrne for his many visits and chats with us.
The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
An anniversary Mass will take place at Allenwood church at 6.30 p.m. on 22 January.
Joe, Christy (Bicky), Breda, Nelly, Catherine and Bernadette Jacob.
