 Mary Kerrigan
(née Dolan)

Towneymoyle, Manorhamilton, Leitrim

The family of Mary Kerrigan, née Dolan, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the passing of our dear & beloved Mary.

Our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours, colleagues and well-wishers who visited our home & attended Mary’s Reposal, Funeral Mass & Burial.

To all who offered condolences, said a prayer or took a moment to remember Mary. To those who sent cards & messages; shared stories, anecdotes & memories with us, we are truly grateful. We appreciate that many travelled long distances & made arrangements to be with us.

To the volunteers who managed car parking; to all who provided refreshments & a warm welcome to callers and to those who arranged & participated in the wonderful guards of honour for Mary, we thank you.

During her lifetime, Mary was a proud and avid supporter of the many community endeavours. The contributions demonstrated by all is testament to the dedication & loyalty of our community and to the love for Mary.

Thank you to Fr. Gilhooly, Fr. Rodney & Padraig Kelly for the spiritual & emotional guidance in the days leading up to Mary’s funeral and for their continued support. We thank all those who participated in Mary’s Funeral Mass, including Fr. Kelly, Fr. Drumm & Fr. Comiskey for concelebrating. To the McDermott family for the beautiful music and to Connolly & McDonald Funeral Directors for their sensitive & professional handling of arrangements.

We thank Dr. Ballantine & staff of Dromahair Health Centre for providing the best possible support for Mary. And to the oncology team and dedicated nurses in St. Vincent’s for their compassionate care.

Please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

‘She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue’ Proverbs 31:26

Mary, you are forever cherished and deeply missed by all who love you. May your gentle soul Rest in Peace.

The First Anniversary Mass for Mary will be celebrated on Sunday, 7th May, alongside Ann’s 15th Anniversary, at 10:15am in St. Osnat’s Church.
