The family of the late Mary Mangan of Dillons Cross, Cork and Inniscarra Co. Cork who died on 2nd September 2024 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the removal, funeral Mass and cremation and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to the management, doctors, nurses and staff of Mercy University Hospital for their exceptional care and kindness to Mary and to us; to the doctors and staff at Broadale Medical Centre; to the ladies of the ICA for their guard of honour and for kindly organising Mary's month's mind Mass; to the organisers and ladies of the various HAZ groups (singing, yoga, fun dance etc) - Mary really loved these activities; to the Scout ladies and Aerobics ladies; to all those who participated in the Mass, especially the celebrant, Fr. Casimir; to Steven, Billy Laura, Ruth and Euan for eulogy, stories, music and song; to all of our grandchildren for readings and bearing the coffin of their beloved Nana; to the staff at The Island Crematorium for such a respectful and spiritual service and to John Keohane, Funeral Director, and his staff for their sensitive and professional handling of the arrangements.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
