and First Anniversary
As we lovingly remember Mary on her First Anniversary, which occurs on 8th May 2023, her daughter Patricia, son John, daughter-in-law Una, grandchildren Darragh, Bronagh & Sarah, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised & supported them during the sad passing of their dear mother and grandmother.
Thank you to all who attended the wake, funeral Mass & burial, especially those who travelled long distances, also to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards & letters, messages of condolences online and by telephone & text, they were all a source of great comfort to us.
Thanks to those who helped with traffic management and all who provided food & served refreshments during the wake.
A very special thanks to Fr. Phair for celebrating the funeral Mass & for officiating at the graveside, also for all his prayers for Mum and for the support he gave us. Thanks also to Fr. Keogan for prayers in our home & concelebrating the funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to Peggy and Kit who enhanced the Mass with their beautiful music and singing.
Our sincere thanks to the management, nurses and staff of St. Phelim's Nursing Home, Dromahair, for the wonderful care and attention that Mum received during her time there, it meant so much to us and we are eternally grateful.
Thanks also to Sligo University Hospital, Our Lady's Hospital, Manorhamilton and the pallative care team from North West Hospice for their care of Mum. Thanks to Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Stack and staff of Bayview Family Practice who took care of Mum's medical needs over the years.
We would like to especially thank the home help carers and community nurse who looked after Mum so well, also to our neighbour Mairead for all the help she gave.
A special thank you to Sean and Seamus of Connolly & McDonald Undertakers for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks to the gravediggers who gave so generously of their time.
Our thanks to the Allingham Arms Hotel for the lovely meal after the funeral.
We are very grateful to all our relatives and friends for their support and kindness at the time of Mum's death and throughout the year since.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. A Mass of Thanksgiving has been offered for your intentions.
"Time may pass and fade away,
but memories of you will always stay.
Our wish is just a simple prayer,
God bless and keep you in his care."
