The family of the late Monica (Monnie) Sheehan would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the following who were brilliant to her before her passing and who were brilliant to her loved ones after her passing.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to all neighbours, her Bingo friends, well-wishers and those who sent Mass Cards and online Messages of Condolences.  We thank all her family, especially her sister Mar who was also her best friend, Marian Lahive and Willie Sheehan who were very supportive.

A special word of thanks to all the medical staff who provided exceptional care for Monica throughout her journey, Dr. Mary Favier, G.P. and all at Parklands Surgery, Dr. Richard Bambury, Dr. Carol McGibney and all the Oncology Staff at the C.U.H., especially Pauline O’Dea, Dr. Browne and his team from the Pain Clinic, especially Anne, those in St. Christopher’s Ward, Catherine Bracken and the Pallative Care Team, Paul in the Main Reception and all the staff of Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, who were all so helpful and supportive, also a special word of thanks to Rose and Staff of Murphy’s Pharmacy, North Main Street.

And finally, we thank Joe and all those at Coughlan’s Funeral Directors, Shandon Street, for their professional handling of arrangements, we would also like to thank the Priest and Crematorium Staff.
