We offer our heartfelt thanks to all our extended family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and well wishers who visited our home, attended the visitation, funeral service and burial who provided emotional and practical support to us at this most difficult time. For those who telephoned, sent cards, flowers, and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Noreen her cousin who never left her side, to all the staff at the North Lee Home Help Office who made it possible to have Mary with us at home, especially Gwen, Theresa, Mary, to Carmel and all at the Cork Carers Association, to Marymount especially Agnes for all of your kindness, care respect, and support you have all shown Mary and us through her illness we are forevr grateful to you all. We would like to sincerely thank all who participated in the Mass especially Father Seán Crowley, readers, singer and finally to Finbarr and all at O’Connor’s Funeral Home for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements

To those who helped in any way, your contribution helped to make our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

In tears we saw you sinking,We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken,You fought so hard to stay,
But when we saw you sleeping,So peacefully free from pain,
We could not wish you back,To suffer that again.

The Month's Mind Mass for Mary Yelverton will be held on the 27th of August 2022 at 5pm at the Cathedral of St. Mary & St. Anne (North Cathedral). All welcome
