Maura’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with them on their recent loss. We are grateful to all who called to the house, sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy on RIP.ie, attended the removal, Funeral Mass and burial, sent food and flowers or baked and to those who helped during the wake serving refreshments. A special thank you to the girls from Homestead Care for their care and attention to Maura and to the doctors and nurses of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for their dedication during her stay. We appreciate the presence of Fr. Stansfield at our home for evening prayers and to Fr. Vinod for his visits to Maura and for celebrating a very personal Funeral Mass. Our gratitude to soloist Paudi Breen and Annmarie Douglas on accompaniment for the beautiful music. We are grateful to Roche Emmets GFC who provided a guard of honour. Finally, our appreciation to Quinn’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and attention to detail in handling the funeral arrangements.
