Maura’s children Danny, Marie, James, Ann & Brendan, sister Ann, brother Tom & all our family wish to express our heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support we received throughout Maura’s illness, at the time of her funeral & during the time since.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Maura's removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, letters & texts, those who shared happy memories & warm messages online, those who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support & those who couldn’t be present but joined us in the celebration of Maura’s life via webcam.
Our most sincere thanks to Dr. Foster & his team at Harbour Road Surgery, to the doctors, nurses & caring staff of St. Colmcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown & to the wonderful palliative care team who brought such peace & comfort to Maura’s final days.
To our wonderful neighbours, extended family & friends, your kindness & support will never be forgotten.
Special thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, comforting guidance & beautiful funeral Mass & to Karla Tracey & Rosarie Kinsella for their fabulous music
Thanks also to the management & staff of The Old Ship for their hospitality, to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Maura’s Month’s Mind Mass together with her husband Daniel’s 3rd Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 29th April at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the church webcam
