 Maureen Doyle
(née Ward)

Arklow, Wicklow

Maureen’s children Anthony, Paul and Deirdre, her sister Martha and all her family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every person who offered sympathy and support throughout our recent sad loss.

Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Maureen’s Removal, Funeral Mass and Burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters and floral tributes, those who phoned, text or shared kind messages of sympathy online and to those who couldn’t be present but joined us on webcam.

Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of Aisling House Nursing Home who brought such comfort and dignity to Maureen’s final months and to Dr. Coates and her team at Arklow Medical Practice for their great care.

Thank you to Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, guidance and beautiful Funeral Mass and to Karla Tracey & Bridget Kenny for such lovely music.

To our own extended families, our relatives, neighbours and friends, your kindness and support will never be forgotten.

Thanks also to Joe and Tom from RSS for tending to the grave, to the management and staff of The Old Ship for their hospitality and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Maureen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 3rd August at 6.30pm in Saints Mary and Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
