Josephine Hicks and Margaret Moriarty, lifelong friends and cousin of the late Mossie Kelly of The Kerries, Tralee who died on 14th August 2023 would like to thank most sincerely all those who  sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends,  neighbours  and well-wishers who visited Mossie in Aperee Nursing Home in his final few months, attended the wake, Mass and cremation. For those who telephoned,  travelled  long distances, sent cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Dr Ken Holmes, longtime neighbour and GP to Mossie, the staff of Aperee Nursing Home for their care and respect shown during Mossies short stay; The Kerins O’Rahillys GAA Club for their life long mutual support with Mossie Kelly and for the guard of honour held during his funeral.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
