May’s children Marie, Margaret, Josie, John, Robert, Ingrid & all her extended family wish to express their most sincere thanks to all those who joined them in celebrating the life of their much loved mother, sister & grandmother.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended May’s funeral Mass & cremation service, sent Mass cards, phoned, text or shared happy memories & kind words online, all those who joined in the celebration of May’s life via live-stream & all those who took part in the liturgy of the Mass. Many thanks also to those who donated generously to Arklow Cancer Support Group in honour of May’s memory.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses & caring staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital for their kindness & care throughout May’s final days & most especially to the wonderful staff & May’s dear friends at Knockrobin Hill which has been a happy & comfortable home to her for the past few years.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fr David Brough for his prayer service, to Fr. Greene & Fr. Michael Rogers for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, to the sacristy team at St. Kevin’s Church & to Geraldine Delaney, Michael Flood & Bridget Kenny for their fabulous music. Thank you also to Fr Martin Cosgrove for his lovely committal service & to Mr Bagpipes – John Lamb for his musical tribute.
To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours & dear friends, we thank you for your kindness & support, for countless years of friendship & for joining us in the Wicklow Heather to celebrate & remember May.
Thank you to the staff of Mount Jerome Crematorium & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
May’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 11th September at 11.30am in St. Kevin’s Church, Glendalough.
