Melina’s sons Jake & Sean, partner Owen, siblings Mary, Thomas, Bridie, Gerry & Monica, the family of her late sister Patricia & all her extended family would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the support & kindness shown to us throughout our recent sad & unexpected loss.

 

Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, to those who attended Melina’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, to those who sent Mass cards & flowers, to those who phoned, wrote or text & to those who shared comforting messages & happy memories online. Thank you to those who travelled long distances & to those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Melina’s life via webcam.

 

Our sincere thanks to all those who assisted us on the day Melina passed away; the Arklow Community First Responders, the Arklow Gardaí & the ambulance crew.

 

A very special thank you to Fr. Michael Murphy for celebrating Melina’s funeral Mass, to the sacristy team at St. Joseph’s Church, to Bridget Kenny for her organ accompaniment & to our friend Geraldine Delaney for such wonderful singing.

To Melina’s dearest friend Christina McGrath, words cannot express our appreciation for so many years of friendship & for all you have done & continue to do for us throughout this incredibly difficult time.
