Michael’s family would like to thank all those who attended his funeral Mass in Dublin and those who came to the burial in Bailieboro. It was very moving to see the numbers of friends, who remembered Michael and came to pay their respects.

Most sincere thanks to those who have sympathised with us on our recent loss. All the messages of condolences, Mass cards, phone calls and offers of help were so appreciated.

Thanks also goes to Fr. John Mahon, who celebrated the funeral Mass and Fr Ultan Mc Goohan who offered prayers at the burial. The beautiful voice of Joanne Charles, the soloist and her accompanist created a beautiful memory.

We will never forget the kindness and love shown to Michael during his long illness.

The staff of Ward B, St. Luke’s Hospital were exceptional in their care of Michael, as indeed were the staff of the Marlay Nursing Home, Rathfarnham, where Michael resided for the final months of his life. 

Finally, a special word of thanks to Aidan and Damian Clarke, (friends and neighbours from our childhood), for their sensitive and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.

Michael’s Month’s Mind Mass will be at 10am on 18th Jan. at the Church of the Holy Spirit,Greenhills, Dublin.
