ACKNOWLEDGEMENT &  FIRST ANNIVERSARY

Died January 17th, 2022

As we lovingly remember and deeply miss Michael on his first anniversary, his wife Joan, family Kenneth, Yvonne, Richard and Brian and extended family, would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us following our heart-breaking loss. We would like to thank our extended family, our friends and neighbours for their help and support during the past year.

A special thanks to all those who lined the route on Michael’s final journey from his home. Your presence moved us more than words can express. We appreciate everyone who telephoned, called to the house, travelled long journeys, sent letters, Mass and sympathy cards, flowers, brought food, and left touching messages of condolences online, your thoughtfulness is appreciated. The kindness we received from everybody will always be remembered.

We would like to convey our sincere gratitude to Fr. Finbarr Crowley and Fr Tim O’Leary.  Thank you for your time and support in making Michael’s funeral Mass so special. Our sincere appreciation to Carol Lehane who sang so beautifully and flautist Eilis O’Sullivan who accompanied her during the Mass. Thank you to Nora Fitzgerald and Joan Lynch for organising the buffet in our home afterwards.

We sincerely thank Gabriel & O’Donovan Funeral Directors for their kindness and professionalism throughout the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our thanks and appreciation on Michael’s first anniversary.  Mass offered for the intentions of all.

Anniversary Mass in St Mary’s Church, Innishannon, Co Cork, at 6.30pm on Saturday, January 21st 2023.
