Michael’s Children, Margaret, Catherine, Barry and Clare, and his extended family, would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us on our recent unexpected & sudden loss. We are very grateful to the many family members, neighbours & friends who travelled from near and far to join us for the reposal, Funeral Mass and burial.
To all of those who sent mass and sympathy cards and messages of condolences, we are most grateful for your support.
To the wonderful medical teams in the emergency department and coronary care unit in University Hospital Waterford, we appreciate the great care and support you gave Michael during his time there.
Our sincere thanks to Kilmacow GAA club for the guard of honour as Michael was brought into the Church in Ferrybank, where he regularly attended mass, for the final time.
To Fr Whearty we are grateful for the beautiful funeral mass and for his kindness to the family at this difficult time. Our thanks also to Eoin Power for the sublime singing during the mass and Rose, the organist who accompanied him.
We are very thankful for the professionalism shown by Powers Funeral Directors. The kindness and attention to detail shown by Martin and Claire was very much appreciated by the family.
We would also like to thank John Finnegan and the staff of Waterford Golf Club for helping us celebrate Michael’s life in a place he knew very well – to Michal, Beata and their team in the restaurant, and Trish and all those who helped in the bar, we are forever grateful.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
Michael’s Months Mind Mass will be offered on Sunday January 26th at The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank at 11.30am
