Who died on the 23rd January 2022.

As we lovingly remember Michael on his first anniversary, his wife Mairead, daughter Miriam and son Michael, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the support and kindness shown to us since our sad loss.

A sincere thank you to our extended family, our good neighbours and friends who supported and helped us. Your presence, mass cards, phonecalls, online condolences meant so much and brought us comfort during this difficult time. We will be forever grateful. 

Our heartfelt appreciation to all of those who participated in the funeral mass, especially Canon David Herlihy, Canon Bernard Donovan, Monsignor Kevin O' Callaghan and sacristan Ann O' Callaghan, for their help. Thank you to vocalist Carmel Breen and musicians Sophia, Rachel, Jason and Catherine. To funeral directors Martin and Billy Fitzgerald for their guidance.

Our sincere gratitude to the health care workers, nurses, doctors of Cork University Hospital and Marymount hospice for the great care given to Michael.

As it is impossible to mention everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.

Sadly missed and loved always by your wife Mairead, daughter Miriam, son Michael, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Ally, grandchildren Róisín, Úna and Seán, brothers, sisters and extended family.

A special place in our hearts is always kept for you.

Michael's first anniversary mass will be celebrated on Friday 27th January at 10am in St Mary's Church, Kilmurry.
