The family of the late Michael (Mike) Glynn, of Crestwood, Coolough Rd and formerly of Costello Rd, Shantalla, Galway, who died on the 15th May 2023, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.
Michael will be very sadly missed by his wife Frances, daughter Regina, son in law Ollie, grandkids Dylan & Eoghan, brother Gerard, sisters Loretta, Marion, Anne and Angela, nieces and nephews, the extended Glynn, Costello & Hannon families, neighbours & friends.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many family, friends, colleagues & neighbours who visited our home, attended Mike's removal, the funeral Mass & burial, and who provided emotional & practical suspport for us at this very difficult time.
For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, brought food to Mike's home, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

Our wounderful neighbours, in particular Johanna Downes & Bernie Ryan, who were of great support to Mike during his illness, and who showed great support & compassion to Frances & Regina & us all when Mike passed away. The nurses, doctors, volunteers, all the staff & the Oncology dept of UCHG, & the paramedics. Aoife Quinn, Upper GI Clinical Nurse Specialist at UCHG, who always had a great chat for Mike and showed the utmost compassion & respect to us at all times.
The doctors, nurses, volunteers, staff & the palliative team at Galway Hospice, in particular the homecare team, Breda, Sarah, Lisa & Kevin, who always showed great kindness & were very professional.
Mike's GP., Dr Eamon O Shea, and all the team at Claddagh Medical Centre, who took such wounderful care of Mike down through the years, especially in recent years.
Pat Elwood, who called most Sundays to bring Dad out for a drive & cup of coffee, you truly were Dad's rock.
Ciaran Small, Mike McDonagh & Brendan Shaughnessy who would call to see Mike regularly. To the many family & friends Mike had, you all played a very special part in Mike's life.
Paul Elwood, for all his help alongside Gerard in the days after Mike's passing.
The management & staff of The Western Hotel, Prospect Hill, who looked after us all exceptionally well after Mike was laid to rest.
Ollie's work colleagues in BAM FM, who throughout Mike's Illness, were very supportive & accommodating.
Lorraine O'Gorman, Caroline Stallard & Sharon Fay, who looked after Dylan & Eoghan after Mike's passing. We would have been lost without your help during this very difficult time.

Month's Mind Mass for Michael Glynn will be held on Sunday, 18th June 2023, at 11.30am, in St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Rd., Galway. All are welcome.
