In loving memory of our Dad Michael, whose First Anniversary occurs on October 28th.

We his Children, Richard, Ian and Mary and our Families would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to Dad’s extended family, his many friends and neighbours who attended the Removal, Funeral Mass and Burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.  For those who telephoned, travelled, sent cards and messages of condolences on RIP.ie, we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to Maria, Rita and Noreen who cared for Dad.

We would like to thank Owenabue Medical Centre, in particular Dr. Vivian Foley who looked after our Dad so well since 2008 and to the Reception Staff who always gave our Dad an appointment anytime he needed even at short notice.

We wish to acknowledge the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at CUH who took diligent care of Dad during his time there. To the Funeral Party from the Army, Collins Barracks and the Guard of Honour from the ONE Branch Cobh, we thank them most sincerely.

To the staff at Forde’s Funeral Home, who guided us through the Removal and Funeral Mass, we as a family are extremely grateful.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
