The wife and family of the late Michael Sidney, who died November 4 2016, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and offered such enormous support to them on their recent sad loss. Our heartfelt thanks to our many friends, relatives and neighbours who attended the services for Michael and who provided emotional and practical support at this very difficult time. A special word of thanks to Michael's good friends, work colleagues past & present and relatives who frequently visited him throughout his long illness.
A special thanks to Fr. Tomás Kehoe who celebrated Michael's Funeral Mass in a very intimate and sincere way, also thanks to Fr Joe McGrath P.P and Fr Oliver Sweeney P.P Templetown, Michael's cousin and close friend who concelebrated also. To the many reverend Fathers who took the time to attend the Funeral Mass with us and a special thanks to Michael's life long friend Monsignor Lory Kehoe. Thank you to Joanne Cooney for her professionalism and support with arranging Michael's Funeral and to Stephen Murphy for the beautifully apt music provided.
To the Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses and Staff of University Hospital Waterford; the Management and Staff of Cherrygrove Nursing home ; Dr Aidan Horan, Dr John Kelleher and in more recent years all the Doctors and Staff at North Gate Medical Centre; St.John's Rehab Hospital , Enniscorthy; the Nurses at Wexford Hospice Homecare; Michael & Staff of Burke's Pharmacy, please accept our sincere gratitude for your professional care and kindness shown to Michael throughout his ill health.
A special word of thanks to the Public Health Nurses and to their professional teams and all the staff of New Ross Health Centre, especially the homecare team Sarah, Mag, Eíbhlin and Ann for their outstanding care, kindness and respect shown to Michael while he was at home with us. Without this support Michael would not have enjoyed been surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home during his illness, which will a time that will always be cherished.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression to all of our deepest gratitude.
Michael's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday the 11th of December at 12 o'clock at St Mary & St Michael's Parish Church.
