The family of the late Mike Campbell, Lower Rath, Riverstown, Dundalk, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, 15th November, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We so greatly appreciate all those who joined us at the wake, Funeral Mass and burial to celebrate Mike’s life. Your presence, stories, memories, support and thoughtful gestures have been a huge comfort to us all at this difficult time.
Our heartfelt thanks to the carers, nurses and staff of Carlingford Nursing Home who cared so well for Mike since August 2024. We are so grateful for the kindness, dedication and respect shown to Mike and our family during his time there. Also, our deepest gratitude to Dr. McKeown and the staff of Carlingford Medical Centre and Jenkinstown Pharmacy for taking care of Mike in his final years.
Special thanks to Fr. John, Fr. Malachy and Fr. Damien for attending Mike during his final weeks, for the support and comfort you brought to him and us in his final months and to Fr. John for the Funeral Mass, it was a wonderful send off.
Thanks to Mary Boyle and Pat Kirk at St. James' Church for their help preparing for the Funeral Mass, to Carmel Rice and Henry McCloskey for the beautiful music throughout the ceremony and to our friends and neighbours for digging Mike’s grave with such care.
Sincere thanks to Quinn’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism, thoughtfulness and guidance in the days after Mike’s passing.
We would like to thank our extended family, friends and neighbours for all of the practical help over the past weeks, for calling to us, offering guidance, travelling to be with us, the messages, Mass Cards and condolences. We have been overwhelmed by your kindness and consideration and it will be remembered always.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Mike’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 21st December at St. James' Church, Grange at 11.30am.
