The family of the late Neil Smith, Donabate would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the sad loss of our beloved Dad.

A heartfelt thank you to all who visited our home, attended the wake, funeral, burial and shared beautiful memories of Neil and provided us with emotional and practical support at this sad time. For those who travelled, sent tributes, cards and messages of condolence and made charitable donations we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to all the local businesses who remained closed and everyone who lined the route as Neil made his final journey through the village, it was a truly beautiful and fitting farewell for him.  A special thank you to Rocks Funeral Home for their professional arrangements, to Brennan's Pharmacy, Dr Watson and staff, and Beaumount Hospital for all their care to Neil throughput the years. To the community medical team, to Father Augustine and all who helped with the Mass service a grateful thank you.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as our sincere thanks to you all, we will keep you in our prayers, Neil will be sadly missed by us and all who knew him.

Months Mind Mass for Neil will be celebrated on Friday, 17th June, at 10am in St. Patrick's Church, Donabate.
