Acknowledgement and First Anniversary

 

Nellie's sons and daughters Mary, Kathleen, Ben, Lilian, John and Murt, sons-in-laws Eamon, Anthony and Philip, daughters-in-law Rose and Viva and grandchildren,Daragh, Niamh, Anna, Ellie, Dylan, Eamon, Eilís, Méabh, Éada & Finnán would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank all those who sympathised with them and offered condolences on their sad loss of Nellie.

 

A very special word of thanks to all those who attended Nellie's rosary, removal, funeral mass & burial, sent Mass cards, enrolments, letters, texts, online condolences & floral tributes and to all those who travelled long distances..

 

Very special thanks to Fr. Francis Manning for all of his visits and for the kindness shown to Nellie during her illness and for his prayers at the rosary, removal and for celebrating such a beautiful funeral mass. Sincere gratitude also to Fr.O' Shea​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ (Kilcorney) for co-concelebrating Nellie's mass & to Fr.Stritch(Meelin/Rockchapel) and Fr.Bluitt(Kanturk)for their prayers at the house. Thanks to the sacristan, Batt and to Méabh Walsh for the lovely music.

 

Sincere appreciation to Dr.Daly & the team at Newmarket Surgery, to Mallow Hospital and to Ward 2B in the CUH and to Sheehan's Pharmacy, Newmarket. A big thank you to Áine(Public Health Nurse) & to Marymount Hospice who assisted Nellie's family in providing her with the comfort and dignity she truly deserved during her final weeks.

 

To Nellie's wonderful neighbours & friends a most heartfelt thank you, their kindness, compassion and generosity of spirit will never be forgotten.

 

Thanks also to the management & staff of Bob's on the Green, Kanturk for their hospitality and to Michael & Fran O' Reilly, Undertakers, Newmarket. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

 

Nellie's First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 24th March at 10am in The Church of the Holy Spirit, Taur.
