The family of the late Niall Harrington, of Cobh and formerly of Bandon, Co. Cork, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the loss of Niall.

We offer our sincere thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who came to his removal and cremation to bid Niall a final farewell.

The family wish to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to his neighbours  who raised the alarm, the Midelton Fire Brigade, the Cobh Fire Brigade, and the National Ambulance Service. We are whole heartedly appreciative for the professional medical and palliative care Niall received in Cork University Hospital’s ICU and Ward 2, for the kindness of all the staff and the respect shown to Niall at all times throughout his final days.

To those who helped in any way, your many contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude.
