Nick’s wife Dorcas, children Tom, Sean & Niamh, daughter-in-law Irena, granddaughter Esther, his brothers, sisters-in-law & all our family wish to express our sincere thanks for the continued sympathy & support shown to us throughout this difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who attended Nick’s funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters & texts, those who shared comforting messages or happy memories online, those who couldn’t be present but joined us via webcam & all those who donated generously to Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services www.olh.ie in Nick’s memory.

Our most heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock who brought such comfort & dignity to Nick’s final weeks.

Thank you to Fr. Anastasius Ezenwata for his prayers, guidance & funeral Mass, to the sacristy team & parish office staff at the Church of our Lady of the Assumption & to celebrant Willie O’Byrne for his graveside service. Very special thanks to the truly gifted Naoimh Penston & our wonderfully talented neighbour Margaret Burns whose music brought such beauty to this celebration of Nick’s life.

To our extended families, our colleagues, neighbours & friends, we will be forever grateful for the kindness shown to us in our time of grief.

Thanks also to Andrew Nolan for tending to the grave, to the management & staff of The Talbot Hotel for their hospitality after the funeral & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
