First Anniversary

Noel (William) Quirke

As we Katherine, Rory and Molly, remember Noel who passed away unexpectantly on 20th January 2024 in UHL surrounded by his family, we would like to acknowledge the love and support we received during the past year.

Our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us, attended Noels removal, Requiem Mass and burial and those who joined online who could not be present. Thanks to family members and friend Pat who participated in the Requiem Mass.

 A special thanks to Fr. Liam and Una in St. Josephs who greatly assisted us with funeral arrangements for Noels Requiem Mass. To Eve Stafford, our soloist who sang so beautifully in the Church, we thank you.

To our extended families, Noels Analog work colleagues, our great neighbours and exceptional friends, members of CIAC, Crecora GAA and Adare Golf Society, and for all those who travelled from near and overseas to be with us, a sincere thank you.

For those of who sent Mass and Sympathy Cards, letters, posted online condolences, dropped off food to our home, organised and took part in the guards of honour in Log na gCapall and Crecora Graveyard we thank you.

We also acknowledge those of you who kindly made donations to the Dillon Quirke Foundation.

A special thanks to the emergency medical staff who arrived at our home on 14th January. For the care, compassion and professionalism of the ICU and Radiography Departments of UHL we are profoundly grateful. We also wish to acknowledge the compassion and empathy the of Organ Donation Team. We also thank the kindness of the hospital Chaplin Fr. Declan.

Heartfelt thanks to Thompsons, our undertakers for their professional guidance during this difficult time.

As it is impossible to name and thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as our grateful appreciation for all your support to us at this sad time.

Noel's First Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, 12th January at 12.30 In St. Joseph’s Church, O’ Connell Ave.
