Noreen Larkin

 Noreen Larkin
(née Farrell)

Coolgreaney Road, Arklow, Wicklow / Baltinglass, Wicklow

Noreen’s sons John and Ciarán, daughters Jackie, Geraldine, Georgina and all the Larkin and Farrell families wish to extend their most sincere thanks for the many kind expressions of sympathy and support they received at the time of Noreen’s sad passing and in the weeks since.

While the restrictions of the time did not afford many people the opportunity to pay their respects in person, we are most grateful for the numerous cards, letters, phone calls, texts and online messages we received.

Sincere thanks to all those who joined in the celebration of Noreen’s Funeral Mass via webcam, joined us at the cemetery, to those who kept us in their thoughts and prayers, and to those who donated generously to www.wicklowhospice.ie in Noreen’s memory.

Special thanks to Dr Flynn, Dr Coates and all the team at Arklow Medical Practice, to the Primary Care Team – most especially Nurse Claire, to Noreen’s carers Paudy and Trish, to the Palliative Care Team, and to the staff of O’Meara’s Pharmacy, all of whom brought such dignity, comfort and care to Noreen and her family throughout her final months.

Heartfelt thanks to Fr. Padraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, words of comfort and for celebrating the Funeral Mass; to Noreen’s dear friend and colleague P.J. O’Leary for serving as Sacristan; and to Lucy Carolan, and our friend and neighbour John Bonner, whose music brought such beauty to the celebration of Noreen’s life.

To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours and friends, and to Noreen’s many friends, from the Asgard and Golf Bridge Clubs and beyond, your support, kindness, companionship and friendship are much appreciated, and will never be forgotten.

Thanks also to Bill and Joe from R.S.S. for tending to the grave and to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for their professional and kind support.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Noreen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 31st January at 11.30am in St’s Mary and Peter’s Church, and we welcome you all to join via the parish webcam.
