We, Nuala’s sisters Eileen (Tighe) and Noreen (Friel), her nieces, nephews and their families thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and supported us since Nuala’s death.

Thank you to our relatives, neighbours and friends who visited Nuala in repose. Thanks also to our good neighbours and friends who generously brought refreshments and helped with traffic and parking while Nuala reposed at home. To all who attended her funeral Mass in person or online, provided a guard of honour, phoned, sent cards, text messages, condolences online and floral tributes, we offer our heartfelt thanks.

We wish to acknowledge the caring support of the staff of Ballymote Primary Care Centre and Nuala’s GP Dr Valerie Mc Gowan, the staff of Casey’s Pharmacy, Ballymote, Sligo University Hospital, Galway University Hospital and The Galway Clinic.

We sincerely thank Fr James Mc Donagh for his spiritual support to Nuala during her illness and for celebrating a beautiful funeral mass; Mary Frayne for her beautiful singing; the sacristans; altar servers and all others involved in celebration of the Mass.

Our thanks to Undertakers Des and Alan Rogers for their professionalism throughout and to the gravediggers for the preparation of Nuala’s grave.

Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our appreciation and gratitude.

Nuala’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote, on Sunday, 21st May, at 11:30am.
