Owen’s children Brenda, Valerie, Sinéad, Gráinne, Aidan, Jonathan, Irene and families wish to express their most sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with them, called to the house, attended the funeral or travelled long distances to be with them.  Thanks also to those who sent Mass cards, letters and messages of support, those who phoned and comforted them in so many ways.  Your support was, and is, a great comfort to them and a great tribute to their Dad, who is greatly missed by all.  The memories shared, and the love shown by his siblings, family, friends and neighbours, reflect the deep love and affection Owen was held in by all who knew him. 

Thanks to the emergency services and to Fr.Adrian Walshe and Fr.Stephen Duffy who attended the scene of the accident.  The family would like to especially thank Fr.Walshe for his guidance, prayers and lovely funeral mass.  Thanks also to Martin's Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements and McEntee Catering for the refreshments.  ​As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of their deepest appreciation and gratitude for all who helped in so many ways during the heart breaking time of Owen’s death.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.  May He Rest in Peace. 

Months Mind Mass for their beloved father will be celebrated on Saturday August 4, 2018 at St. Mary's Church, Threemilehouse, Co.Monaghan at 11am.  This Mass is also an anniversary Mass for Owen’s wife Rose and son Dermot.
