Paddy Byrne

 Paddy Byrne

Ringsend, Dublin

Along the road of suffering,
You found a little lane;
That took you up to heaven,
And ended all your pain.
You may be out of sight,
We may be worlds apart;
But you are always in our prayers,
And forever in our hearts.

The family of the late Paddy Byrne, who died on 12th November 2023, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many family,  friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited the funeral home, service and burial to help us give Paddy the send off he truly deserved.

A special word of thanks to the doctors and staff of St James' Hospital, Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dr Hayes of Ringsend Medical Centre & St Andrew's Homecare, who cared for Paddy during his illness. A special mention to Paddy's dear friend Ann Charters, who looked after him so well and provided a great source of care and compassion to him. Special thanks to Nichols' funeral home, Fr Tonge and all in St Patrick's Church, those who helped carry Paddy over Ringsend Bridge & Keith from Clarke's Bar, for their kindness and sensitivity during a very difficult time.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The Month's Mind Mass for Paddy will be held on Sunday, 17th December 2023, at 12.00 noon in St Patrick's Church, Ringsend. All welcome.
