Paddy Doogan

 Paddy Doogan

Clontrain, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

Ann, the wife of the late Paddy Doogan who passed away on the 14th of November, and family, wish to acknowledge the many, many, expressions of sympathy shown to us following our very sad loss. We are deeply grateful to our family, relatives, friends and neighbours for their support, kindness, and generosity. For those who telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages of condolences and flowers, including those who could not travel due to COVID-19 restrictions, we truly appreciate it.

Thank you to all who were at St. Patrick's Church, Rock Chapel or lined the cortege route; And thanks to those who helped us remember every aspect his life, from his work, to his love for traditional music; from his passion for tug of war, to his love for the open road and his motorbike; All of you helped us give Paddy a very special send off.

A special word of thanks to Fr Philip Crowe and Fr Noel Mc Gahan, for celebrating a special and deeply personal funeral mass for Paddy.

Our heartfelt thanks to our many family, neighbours and friends who helped in preparing the grave; to Lonergan Funeral Directors for their kind, professional, but at all times, dignified approach; And to the musicians who participated in the funeral Mass.

Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for their remarkable care and compassion.

To all who helped and supported us in any way, we offer a sincere thank you.

Paddy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 13th December, at 10.00am in the St. Patrick's Church, Rock Chapel, upper Magheracloone.
