Paddy's wife Sinead and sons Danny and Jack wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss. Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy and condolences on RIP.ie, attended the wake, funeral Mass, virtually and in person, and the burial, and for the ongoing support we have received since Paddy's passing. Thank you to all our relatives, neighbours and friends, your help and support over the past few weeks will never be forgotten. To Fr. John Dunphy for his kindness and words of comfort and for helping us celebrate Paddy's life with a meaningful funeral ceremony. To Mark Carpenter and all at Carpenter's Funeral Home for all your help and support over those difficult few days. A special word of thanks to our Public Health Nurse, Eileen Whelan, who was with Paddy all through his illness and was a great support to all the family. Also to Dr. Ben Parameter, Dr. Murali Nair and the Palliative Care Team, Sonya, Phylis and Olive, who were always available and always had Paddy's best interest at heart. Heartfelt thanks also to all the Night Nurses, District Nurses and CIT Nurses who attended to Paddy at home and also all the staff in St James' Hospital, who looked after Paddy throughout his illness. Also to the staff at Bagenalstown Pharmacy under the care of Ann Phelan for all their help, support and professionalism. We acknowledge with due appreciation the support and kindness shown by the staff at Tyndall College to Danny and Jack all through Paddy's illness. Sincere thanks to the members of the Holy Cross who formed the Guard of Honour on the way to the church. We would like to extend our hearfelt thanks to Ken Cullen, Leo Whelan and all Paddy's biker friends and family who rode with him on his final journey. This memory will stay with us forever. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere appreciation and gratitude. As a token of our appreciation the holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions.
