As we lovingly remember Pádraig on his first anniversary, his wife Ester, son Seán, daughters Ciara and Aisling, grandchildren Naoise, Liadh and Isla, son-in-law Chris and daughter-in-law Maria, Aisling’s fiancé James, his brother Donal, sisters Máire, Úna, Joan, Ita and Deirdre and his extended family wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised and supported us on our sudden and heartbreaking loss.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported us this past year. Your Mass cards and prayers, online condolences, beautiful letters and many phone calls brought us much comfort. To all who lined the funeral route to bid Pádraig a most moving final farewell, especially Castlehaven GAA, we express our deepest thanks. Your support and kindness will never be forgotten.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Gerry Thornton who celebrated Pádraig’s funeral Mass, and to John Shanahan & Sons Funeral Directors for their understanding and professionalism under such difficult circumstances.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
