Padraig Connolly

 Padraig Connolly

Cargaghlisnanarney, Culloville, Castleblayney, Monaghan / Rathmines, Dublin

Padraig’s parents Mary and Vinny and his siblings Sinéad, Ciarán, Siobhán and Micheál, nephews and goddaughter would like to express their heartfelt thanks for all the kind expressions of condolence and the exceptional support received following his sudden death and throughout the funeral. We thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Padraig, those who attended the funeral Mass and the burial, all who travelled long distances to be with us.  We greatly appreciate the many Mass cards, sympathy cards and phone calls that we have received. Our extended family, many friends, and neighbours deserve special mention for their thoughtfulness and help.

Our thanks to Mnsr. Vincent Connolly and Fr. Michael Daly for celebrating such a beautiful, personalised and comforting Mass and to Liebe Kelly and Barry Jay Hughes for the wonderful music. We are very thankful to the great hospitality the Lisdoonan Community Center were able to cater for all who attended the funeral.

A special word of thanks to those who found Padraig, to the Gardaí and the First Responders on the scene.

We are grateful to Deery’s Funeral Directors who showed much support and compassion during this time.

We would also like to thank those who made donations to Lorgan House, St. Mary’s, Castleblayney.

Mere words are inadequate to thank Lara, our extended family, good friends, kind neighbours, and Padraig's collegues at Propylon who gave us the most amazing and unwavering support in our time of complete shock and grief.

The kindness and love you all bestowed on us over the days of our dear Padraig’s funeral will always comfort us.  Due to the amount of support, we received it would be impossible to thank everyone individually.  We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
