The family of the late Pat Moonan, Old Mellifont Road, Begrath, Drogheda, Co.Louth who died peacefully in our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on the 17th of March 2023 would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures shown to us on our great loss. We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, Mass cards, letters, flowers and condolences on RIP.ie.

Our sincere thanks to Dr. Baist. his team and all the staff in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital who cared for Pat so well. Thanks too to Dr. Richard Gavin and staff at Cornerstone Medical Practice. Special thanks to Gemma from the Ballsgrove Medical Centre and to Hickeys Pharmacy, West Street, Drogheda.

Thank you to Fr. Seán Dooley for his visits to Dad and for his support he gave to us as a family throughout Pat’s illness.  Equal thanks to Fr. Dooley also for a memorable funeral Mass. Thanks to Edward Holly, Robert O’ Malley and James Mc Creanor for the beautiful music provided at Pat’s funeral Mass.

We would like to acknowledge the Guard of Honour provided by the IFA and Tullyallen National School. It was a very touching moment for us, Pat’s family on the day.

Thank you to our family, neighbours and friends who were a great source of comfort at such a sad time for us.

Thank you to funeral directors P. Townley & Sons for working with us so sensitively and professionally.

Pat will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Pat’s month's mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 22nd of April at 7.30pm in the Church of the Assumption, Mellifont Parish- Tullyallen (A92 RY73).
